Tony Kanaan is a Brazilian race car driver of Lebanese heritage. He has an estimated net worth of $20 million. Tony became the 1997 Indy Lights Winner and the 1999 U.S. 500 in Michigan. As a serious racing contender, he started out well in the early 2000’s. He raced in a Honda for Mo Nunn before the team lost its principal funding in 2002. Kanaan then raced for Andretti Green of Andretti Autosport and he has won several races.

Kanaan is the first IndyCar driver to have completed every potential lap in a season with 3,305. He’s also established an IndyCar Series record when he led 889 laps in 13 separate races. Kanaan is the only driver to lead the Indianapolis 500 in each of his first seven starts though he has yet to win this flagship event. He’s got a total of 14 IRL race victories. He left Andretti in 2011 and initially signed on with de Ferran Dragon Racing but the team shut down when sponsorship could not be materialized. He started racing for KV Racing technology and drives the #11 even though he has been less satisfied using the rate of their automobiles.
