Marty McSorley is a retired Canadian hockey player who played for the La Kings. Marty McSorley made his advent to the hockey league when he landed a position for the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1983. After remaining together with the Kings for quite some time, he left the team and traded to the New York Rangers in 1996. He was suspended throughout the time he is with the Bruins, as he swung his stick and hit Donald Brashear in the head. He was charge with assault throughout the rest of the 1999-2000 season. McSorley attempted to continue playing ice hockey, as he went to Great Britain. However he eventually played for the Grand Rapids Griffins in 2001.
