Mark Farner is a US vocalist, guitarist and songwriter. Mark has an estimated net worth of $16 Million. He is most popularly known as the lead singer as well as the guitarist for the group “Grand Funk Railroad”. In 1965, Mark began his music career by playing in the group “Terry Knight and the Pack”. In 1973, Craig Frost joined the group as the keyboard player. His best known composition was “I’m your Captain closer to home”, which became an epic poem in 1970. The group became very popular soon. On Mark’s 25th birthday, the group stood at #1 on the Hot 100 list.
In 1976, Grand Funk got disbanded and the next year, Mark came out together with his solo album and his second album “No Frills” in 1978.
