American actor, comedian and voice-over artist John Ritter was the son of the celebrated singer/actor Tex Ritter and his celebrity wife Dorothy Fay Southworth. He had a brother, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and became a lawyer. He enrolled at Hollywood High School, was the student body president and became the most used student ever. Then he attended the University of Southern California using a major in Psychology along with a minor in Architecture.
